Living the Dreams of Other People

There are people who seem to wonder aimlessly in life because fate or destiny has thrown them an unfair hand. These people are not the writers behind their own lives. These people are fatalists who believe and blame external force for their woes. But closer examination always comes back to the accountability of the choices that we have made.

The choices we make about how we will relate to the people around us is important because it will contribute to the process of making other choices we make about our family and careers amongst a host of other things. There is no outside force that manipulates you into making choices.

The heart of the matter destiny is a choice that we make. We exercise our free will to overcome all the obstacles in our way come rain or shine. We have the right to make choices or not to make them and it is that right that has led us and will lead us to our destinations in life.

As the writer of your own destinations you will need to take time before making choices. Take into consideration the pros and cons of engaging in the actions you want to embark on.

Be willing to take responsibility for the outcomes be they good or otherwise. Only take responsibility for your actions and not the actions of other people around you. The template of your life is not drawn up and given to you. You are an active participant whether you choose to make a choice or not to make a choice.

Poverty is not an excuse for long-term failure. It is true that you will have to overcome a lot of barriers to get to your destiny but many have gone before you and have succeeded.
The choices that other people do affect us but ultimately we have still have the free will to choose how we will respond.

Maybe you are out there and the world is not turning out great for you. Maybe you are about to give up on this thing called life because it does not make sense to you. Maybe you have worked so hard and have nothing to show for all the effort you have put in. The truth of the matter is that you need to do some self examination and ask yourself some pertinent questions.
